CSC – Common Services Centre program is an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), Government of India. CSCs are easy to access points for delivery of various digital services to rural and urban people in India, thereby contributing to a digitally and financially inclusive society.In rural India, CSCs are not just service delivery points, but changing agents too, promoting rural entrepreneurship and building rural capacities and livelihoods.CSC e-Governance Services India Limited is incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 which provides a centralized collaborative framework for delivery of services to citizens through CSCs, besides ensuring systematic viability and sustainability of the scheme.
The CSCs offer web-enabled e-governance services in rural areas, including applications for Passport, Pancard, Aadhaar, Voter ID, Ration Card etc, various Government certificates, and utility payments such as electricity, telephone, and water bills. People can access high-quality and cost-effective video, voice, and data content and services, in the areas of e-governance, education, health, telemedicine, tele-law, entertainment as well as other private services through CSCs.

MY Story
This is my Story is about a VLE Sadashib Parida from Baleswar district Khaira Block of Odisha. My village Sarat in Gadapokhari Gp is 5 kilometers away from the city. My Home Condition is very bad and previously had no means of earning.
One day while i Know About Common Services Center, I gathered information about the scheme and started my own CSC in 2017. Presently I Am a successful VLE and delivers all CSC services in My village.
Since last two years I am facilitating loan service,insurance service,pan card service,gas connection service and general cash withdrawal using DigiPay. I have done transactions of more than Rs. 1cr. Approx . I am a known face in my area and people prefer going to my office for banking transactions and other CSC services like Insurance, PMG Disha, pan card,gas service and DigiPay. My CSC Center is one of the famous CSC Center in Khaira Block and i proud to be a CSC Vle .
